Go Au Pair – Utah

For Au Pair and Host Families

December Holiday Au Pair Activity!

on January 27, 2014

008 005I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season with family and friends. On December 5th, 2013, the Go Au Pair Utah group of Au Pairs met at City Center in downtown Salt Lake City for dinner. We had a quick dinner at the food court, so everyone could get their choice of dinner and then we walked across the street to see the holiday lights at temple square. It was an amazing site, like it always is every year.  The temple lights usually run from November 29th-December 31st and it is free for everyone. If you haven’t been there during the holidays, you need to check it out!

There was a big crowd there, and it was really cold, but all of us had a great time and for most of the Au Pairs, got to experience something brand new. We got to see all the lights and hear the beautiful sounds of the Tabernacle Choir, while we walked around the grounds. Thank you to all the Au Pairs that attended this activity. We had a great turnout of about 12 au pairs and we had quite a few new Au Pairs there for everyone to meet. Now we are heading to January and a whole new year.  Our next activity is on January 25th, where will be going to lunch and ice skating at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City. Our activities are a great chance for all the Au Pairs to meet, have fun and experience something new while here in Utah. See you all in January! I Hope you all have a safe and happy New Year! Here’s to a great 2014!
